Dear Candidate !We are hiring Engineering SMT/ MLB Failure Analysis Engineering.Job Details: Role - Engineering SMT / MLB Failure Analysis Title :Asst Manager / Deputy Manager Experience - 10-18years Job Location - Hosur.Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute detailed failure analysis on MLB and SMT assemblies using advanced diagnostic tools (X-ray, SEM, FIB, ICT, AOI, etc.). Identify root causes of electrical, mechanical, and process-related failures and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, process, manufacturing, and quality engineering to resolve issues and improve product robustness. Develop and maintain failure analysis procedures, documentation, and reporting standards in compliance with IPC, ISO, and customer requirements. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and mass production by analyzing early failure trends and recommending design/process improvements. Interface with customers to present findings, support audits, and lead technical discussions on reliability and failure trends. Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians in failure analysis techniques and tools. Contribute to reliability testing strategies (HALT, HASS, thermal cycling) and support DfX (Design for Excellence) initiatives. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline. 10–18 years of hands-on experience in failure analysis within EMS or OEM environments. Strong expertise in SMT processes, PCB design, soldering technologies, and component-level diagnostics. Proficiency in analytical tools: X-ray, SEM, FIB, EDX, ICT, AOI, thermal imaging, and electrical testing equipment. In-depth knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721), ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other relevant quality systems.
