Scope of Service:All Clinical Areas within the Organization Professional & Educational Qualification: General Nursing Midwifery / Bachelors in Nursing / Masters in Nursing Valid State Registration in India if not from Maharashtra Nursing Council 3.Desirable Certification: Senior Staff Nurses - Preferred Certification in area of their specialization. Evidence of participation in various programs & update & maintain current professional knowledge & clinical skills. 4.Professional Experience: Staff Nurse: 1 – 5 years of experience Senior Staff Nurse: 5 years & above Should be well versed in written & verbal languages – English, Hindi & preferably in Marathi. Computer proficiency in Microsoft office – word, excel, power point & email communication. 5.Core Job Responsibilities Collects information on patient status from a variety of sources using assessment skills including observation, communication and physical assessment. Completes nursing portion of history and physical assessment on all assigned patients on entry to the specific unit Completes the vital signs and pain assessment every visit, and documents all interactions with the patient in the progress notes Sets priorities when planning and carrying out Doctors’ orders and care. Initiates prompt nursing interventions based on changes in the patient’s condition, age and circumstances, if necessary. Is adept and knowledgeable with the use of specific equipment used in the assigned department. Ensures timely and accurate documentation of all patient records according to standards and policies. Anticipates, recognizes and manages emergencies, and unsafe situations / practices, and initiates appropriate and timely intervention. Influences and facilitates change within the department to improve standards of care.
