Role Description:This is a full-time, remote role for a Software Integration Engineer (preferred location in India). The Software Integration Engineer will be responsible for integrating software systems, developing software solutions, troubleshooting issues, implementing continuous integration processes, and working with embedded software. Day-to-day tasks will include collaborating with the India-based product team, the development team, ensuring seamless software operations, and enhancing system performance.Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain integrations with various Property Management Systems (PMS) and third-party platforms. Develop and optimize our integration pipeline, ensuring reliability and efficiency. Understand the nuances of downstream systems and architect scalable integration solutions. Engage with PMS partners to identify and implement new features and updates. Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring system stability and performance. Continuously improve our backend infrastructure, automate tasks, and set best practices for integrations. Monitor and track the daily status of integrations, proactively identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.Requirements:4+ years of experience in backend web development. Proficiency inTypeScriptand experience working withNestJSor similar backend frameworks. Familiarity withObject-Oriented Programmingand its various paradigms. Strong understanding ofautomated testingat every level (unit, integration and end-to-end). Strong understanding of API development, includingRESTful APIs and SOAP XML . Experience working withmessage queuesand understanding ofpub-sub architecturesin distributed systems. Familiarity withdatabases and ORM frameworksfor efficient data management. Proficiency withGitand development tools such asVisual Studio Code(or any preferred IDE). Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to test and validate code before deployment. Experience withintegrating third-party systemsand optimizing data flow between platforms.Nice to Have:Experience in frontend development using React or other similar frameworks. Experience working in thehospitality tech industryor with PMS integrations. Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and infrastructure automation.
