We’re Looking for an Experienced and Dynamic VFX Supervisor to Join Our Ranks! Are you a visionary VFX expert with a passion for film-making and cutting-edge visuals? We are seeking a highly skilled and creative VFX Supervisor to lead our visual effects efforts across all exciting projects - You’ll play a key role in shaping the visual narrative and ensuring the successful execution of the following responsibilities: Key ResponsibilitiesPre‑Production: ● Collaborate with Producers & Client representation with pre-shoot early-stage bidding. ● (Optional) Work with the Production team to pitch for and win projects whilst seeking opportunities to develop client relationships. ● Discuss and develop VFX breakdowns, technical requirements, and production budgets/bids and rough schedules. ● Share ideas in creative planning, concept development. ● Plan ahead for the project's arrival, prebriefed and manage VFX artists and technical staff. Identify requirements and share input for potential recruitment.Remote Production/Shoot Support (May require on occasions): ● Discuss, understand and share ideas remotely for VFX shoots, highlighting capture of all necessary data (HDRI, reference plates, tracking markers, Cam/lens info etc.). ● Advise on shot feasibility and provide creative solutions to production challenges. ● Coordinate with cinematographers and production teams to ensure seamless VFX integration.Post‑Production: ● Guide and review the work of compositors, 2D artists, and 3D+CG teams to maintain high-quality output. ● Troubleshoot technical issues and assess new VFX tools and technologies; propose system or pipeline improvements. ● Assist Show team with timely delivery of shots, staying on budget and schedule. ● Work closely with editorial, color, and effects teams to ensure final output consistency. ● Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, Producers and clients on project progress.Skills & Qualifications: ● 5–8+ years of VFX experience, including at least 3–5 years in a VFX Supervisory role ● Demonstrated expertise in VFX pipeline, compositing, lighting, FX simulations. ● Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Maya, Nuke, Houdini, Silhouette, After Effects also valued) ● Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills from a creative standpoint. ● Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and bids/scheduling management abilities ● Comfortable with client-facing responsibilities and effective stakeholder engagement. ● Articulate technical ideas and creative feedback clearly to both artists and leadership. ● Ability to adapt and adjust to multiple projects with varying turnaround times short, medium and long term. ● (Optional) On occasion, may be required to perform hands-on support in the form of creative demonstration.Nice to Have: ● Experience with real-time engines (Unreal, Unity) or virtual production workflows. ● Familiarity with scripting (Python, shot grid, pipeline tools) ● Knowledge of Houdini, Katana, Arnold, etc. ● Background in Previs and virtual production. ● On-set supervision experience is a bonus. ● Creative education/ diploma/vocational training with fine understanding of design, layout, colour and composition. ● Knowledge of photography, understanding of cameras, cinematography and filmmaking, be able to influence the shoot so it works for the VFX
