We are looking for an experienced Business Data Migration Expert (BDME) (m/f/d) to provide specialized procurement data support for a major ERP transformation program within a leading global life sciences organization. This role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely data migration for Procurement in the Asia region, working with both Direct and Indirect Procurement data objects. Your Responsibilities Serve as the functional Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for data migration activities for assigned procurement data objects (e.g., Vendor Master, Purchase Orders, Source Lists, PIRs). Execute or coordinate timely data cleansing activities. Collect and prepare data for manual/construction objects. Support IT teams in preparing and validating value mappings. Create and manage master lists where applicable. Collaborate with technical teams and country-level Business Data Owners to extract, convert, and migrate data from legacy systems. Ensure ongoing data readiness and verify data quality throughout the migration lifecycle. Approve data upload files pre- and post-load; perform manual data loads where required. Participate in dual maintenance activities and execute data verification scripts. Represent assigned data objects during the Hypercare phase as part of the defect management process. Your Profile 5+ years of experience in both country-level and global roles. Proven background in SAP ERP implementation projects. Strong understanding of procurement processes and related data objects (Vendor Master, PO, PIR, etc.). Prior experience with data migration projects is highly desirable. Bachelor's or Master’s degree preferred. Skilled in Excel and data analysis. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable with strategic planning and hands-on execution. Fluent in English; additional languages like German or French are a plus.
