What You'll Do Own the end-to-end development of WordPress-based websites, landing pages, and microsites.Customize themes (using child themes or custom development) and develop plugins when needed.Translate UI/UX wireframes, Figma/Adobe XD designs into responsive web pages.Optimize website performance (load times, Core Web Vitals, etc.) using caching, CDNs, and minification tools.Implement SEO best practices in code structure, schema markup, and performance.Set up and manage staging environments for testing and approvals.Integrate third-party tools such as HubSpot, Google Tag Manager, analytics platforms, and security plugins.Conduct regular security audits, update patches, and manage backups.Troubleshoot bugs, compatibility issues, and maintain cross-browser/device consistency.Work closely with the content, design, and marketing teams to implement web changes and A/B testing setups.Must-Have Skills 3+ years of WordPress development experience.Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.Experience with custom theme and plugin development.Familiarity with Gutenberg, Elementor, or other page builders.Proficiency with MySQL and WordPress database structure.Solid understanding of version control (Git).Experience with website performance tools like Lighthouse, GTmetrix, or PageSpeed Insights.Knowledge of OWASP security best practices for WordPress.Bonus Points Experience working with HubSpot CMS or headless WordPress.Familiarity with CI/CD for WordPress (e.g., DeployHQ, WP Engine pipelines).Working knowledge of APIs (REST, GraphQL) for third-party integration.Exposure to tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Zeplin for design handoffs.Understanding of GDPR, cookie consent frameworks, and accessibility compliance (WCAG).What We Offer Competitive salary and performance bonuses.Flexible work environment.Opportunity to work with a globally distributed and talented team.Exposure to the latest cybersecurity innovations.Annual learning & development budget.
