MangoDesk is looking to hire Backend Engineers residing in India to support innovative research efforts alongside premier AI laboratories.The work encompasses typical development duties, like identifying and fixing bugs, improving existing code structures, and developing unit tests for advanced software systems.You're an excellent candidate if you:Boast strong proficiency in Backend Development tools and frameworks Offer at least three years of hands-on experience in the field, preferably from a top-tier technology organization Alternatively, you've made significant, high-impact contributions to challenging open-source endeavors on a similar scaleA bit more about what the position entails:You'll engage directly with esteemed AI specialists from leading research facilities All tasks are handled on a flexible, asynchronous basis, allowing you to fit them into your existing commitments We're asking for at least 10 hours per week, though you could ramp up to as many as 40 hours depending on the excellence of your deliverablesRegarding compensation and contract details: We'll align our offer with competitive market rates based on your background and current position Your role will be as an independent, at-will contractor working with MangoDeskWe evaluate every suitable applicant irrespective of protected statuses and are happy to provide necessary accommodations when asked.
