We are seeking an experiencedSAP Advanced Transport Management (TM) Consultantto join our team and help optimize our clients' transportation processes through the implementation and configuration of SAP TM solutions. As an SAP TM Consultant, you will be responsible for working with clients to understand their transportation requirements and business processes, providing expert knowledge of SAP TM, and ensuring the successful implementation and customization of the system. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics and transportation management processes, along with expertise in SAP Advanced TM functionality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, and end-users, to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance transportation efficiency and reduce operational costs.Key Responsibilities :Requirement Gathering : Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze transportation management requirements, understanding business processes, pain points, and improvement opportunities. SAP TM Configuration : Configure the SAP Advanced Transport Management module based on business requirements, including defining transportation planning and execution, freight cost calculation, and integration with other SAP modules (SD, MM, WM, etc.). System Design & Customization : Design and configure end-to-end transportation management solutions, ensuring integration with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and third-party systems as necessary. Implementation & Support : Lead SAP TM implementations, providing expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from blueprinting to go-live and post-go-live support. Integration : Ensure seamless integration with SAP systems like SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and external systems such as GPS, TMS, and freight carriers. Testing & Troubleshooting : Plan and execute system tests, manage UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and ensure all configurations meet the business requirements. Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support. Training & Documentation : Develop training materials and provide training to end-users. Prepare comprehensive system documentation for the client’s future reference. Continuous Improvement : Stay current with SAP advancements, industry best practices, and innovations in transportation management to recommend process improvements and optimize SAP TM capabilities. Stakeholder Management : Work directly with business and technical teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of solutions. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the project. Required Skills & Qualifications :Experience : 6+ years of experience as an SAP Transport Management Consultant, with at least 2+ years working on SAP Advanced Transport Management (TM) projects. Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of SAP TM, SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and integration with other logistics and supply chain systems. Functional Expertise : Experience in end-to-end transportation management, including planning, execution, freight cost calculation, transportation optimization, and reporting. Project Management : Experience in delivering full-cycle SAP TM implementations, including system configuration, testing, and go-live support. Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex transportation issues and propose effective solutions. Communication : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with both technical and business teams. Ability to document requirements and write clear functional specifications. Certifications : SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Transportation Management certification (preferred). Preferred Skills :S/4HANA : Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and its integration with SAP TM. Advanced Analytics : Experience with SAP TM analytics and reporting tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, BI). Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, and transportation industry best practices.
