Job Title:Merchant Operations Associate Department:Cards & Payments Operations Location: REMOTE Contract: 1 Year Experience Required:1–3 years Job Purpose: The Merchant Operations Executive will be responsible for the accurate and timely setup and maintenance of merchant data in the acquiring system. The role involves daily financial processing related to merchant payments, refunds, recoveries, and reconciliations. The candidate will also ensure timely report tracking and respond to merchant-related queries efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Perform accurate data input for merchant onboarding, maintenance, and updates in the system. Prepare and process daily financial entries, including merchant settlements, refunds, recoveries, and other related activities. Conductdaily reconciliation of relevant General Ledger (GL) accounts. Maintain and update internal tracking files and daily operational reports. Handle and resolve merchant queries related to setup, transactions, and payments. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and data accuracy. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Good understanding ofgeneral banking operations, particularly in merchant acquiring functions. 1–3 years of experience in the cards domain or multi-functional banking roles. Prior exposure to merchant setup, maintenance, and payment processing is highly preferred. Strong communication skills—both verbal and written. Proficient in MS Office tools with theability to create and analyze MIS reports. Familiarity with acquiring systems and related operational processes. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
