Role OverviewWe’re looking for aDatabase Developer Internto support our backend team in structuring, optimizing, and managing our growing data infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who understands the power of clean, scalable database architecture and wants to apply it in a live product environment. ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain relational databases (primarilyMySQL ) Work with backend developers (Node.js / Spring Boot) to manage data models Optimize database queries and indexing for performance Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across environments Write and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and views Assist in creating automated reports or dashboards if needed RequirementsSolid understanding ofSQLandrelational database design Hands-on experience withMySQL(or similar RDBMS) Knowledge of ER diagrams and normalization Familiar with data security best practices Bonus: Exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB), ETL pipelines, or DB monitoring tools What You’ll GainReal-world experience with production-grade databases Collaboration with cross-functional teams (backend, frontend, product) Exposure to eCommerce data structures and high-volume transaction management Certificate of Completion & Letter of Recommendation (based on performance)
