The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services to meet the company's operational needs. This role will have a strong emphasis on sourcing and contracting to optimize supplier performance and cost efficiency.Key Responsibilities: Sourcing Strategy Development Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies aligned with the business goals and objectives Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers Conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards. Develop supplier performance matrix (KPIs) and measure performance outputs Address issues or concerns to maintain a high level of supplier performanceContract Negotiation and Management: Develop strategies and lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions and overall value. Draft and review commercial terms, work with legal and manage contracts to ensure they meet legal, regulatory and internal process requirements. Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to agreed terms and conditions.Procurement Process Management: Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing to delivery Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Implement best practices to improve procurement efficiency and reduce costs.Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction initiatives Analyze contracts and spend data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the suppliers. Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Qualification and Skills: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is required, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Law or Supply Chain Management. Minimum 10 years of experience in indirect sourcing, with at least 4 years in global companies. Experience in working with global US companies is a plus. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation. Experience in negotiating service contracts is a must. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
