The ideal candidate should be proficient in PHP, MySQL, and modern web technologies, with hands-on experience in theme and module development, site performance optimization, and third-party integrations.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain Magento 1x/2x eCommerce websites. - Customize themes, templates, and modules based on client requirements. - Optimize website performance, security, and scalability. - Integrate third-party tools and APIs, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches. - Work closely with the design and QA teams to ensure smooth delivery.Required Skills:- Strong knowledge of Magento (1x and 2x), PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX. - Experience in Magento theme integration, extension development, and customization. - Good understanding of MVC architecture, OOP, LAMP stack, and database design. - Familiarity with web services, REST/SOAP APIs, and performance tuning. - Hands-on with at least 2 PHP frameworks and version control systems like Git.Nice to Have:- Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, GTM, A/B Testing. - Experience with CMS like WordPress, OpenCart, OsCommerce. - Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. - Magento Certification and/or Java Certification is a plus.
