Role Title: Presales lead – Enterprise & Data CentresRole Purpose Engage and understand technical requirements of customers and position STL’s product offering and solutions (Copper, Fiber ISP, Fiber OSP) in the Enterprise & Data Centre segment, to build and sustain market share for STL in India.What the role entails (Key Responsibilities) Technical EngagementSupport STL’s solution-sale to key accounts in the region Position STL’s products and solutions to technical client stakeholders Drive STL’s qualification with End customers and System Integrators (SIs) Review technical docs (network design, layouts, specifications etc.) and size the BOM/ BOQs Review and respond to RFI, RFP and RFQs by customers Prepare compliance documents as per Client requirements and Industry standards Educate and train Distributors and SIs on STL’s products Verify compliance with System Warranty processBusiness DevelopmentHunt for commercial opportunities with existing and prospective clients Promote STL’s solutions to end customers, SIs, distributors, and consultants Partner with Account Managers to convert commercial opportunities to Wins Drive Technical showcase (STL TechSparks) for Clients & Channel Partners Provide market inputs to STL internal teams, including Product Lifecycle Management, New Product Development, Product MarketingAfter-sales supportProvide necessary oversight during product installation at client site Support the client in identifying and resolving product-related concernsWhat we are looking for in you (Skills, Knowledge, Special Attributes, Mobility)Hard Skills: Strong Analytical skills: Quantification, Costing, Commercial planning Intermediate to Expert level: AutoCAD, MS Visio, MS ExcelSoft Skills: Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, presentation Stakeholder Management skills: coordinating with clients Obsessed about beating deadlines and delivering uncompromised quality Natural leader with a high degree of ownership Self-starter; Work in a very agile mode and sometimes with little guidanceExperience & EducationMinimum Qualifications & Critical Exposure to Perform the Job at the Optimum Level Education: Hold an RCDD certification is a Must-Have Certification in Data Centre Design from a respected authority is a Nice-to-have B.Eng./ B.Tech or equivalent in Electrical / Electronics/ TelecomExperience / Exposure: 4-6 years of technical exposure to Data Centres and Enterprise connectivity 4-6 years of project execution experience in data and connectivity projects Minimum 3 years of proven experience in customer-interfacing role Deep understanding of technology trends in data centre, connectivity, and telecommunications industry Strong understanding of ICT Standards for infrastructure and installation Minimum 5 years of on-ground experience in India
