Position:- Quality Engineer - QA/QC (HVAC/Fire Fighting/Plumbing) Qualification:- Bachelors Degree with more than 5years experience in the Civil Construction field. Familiar with various construction methods and materials. Proper computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office suite of programs. English oral & written communication skills are required. Reports to the Quality Manager The Quality Engineer is responsible for establishing and maintaining the QC program on whichever project he may be assigned. This individual should also participate in District efforts to promote quality control. Role & Responsibility:- Reviewed and check the contractor Site Quality Plan and the Site Quality Manual. Inspect the quality of materials and workmanship, and verify that the fabrication and installation of HVAC components, PHE, FF & PNG meet technical specifications and construction codes Reviewing documentation TDS, MS, JC, quality plans, MIR and other documents and maintain records of inspections, tests, and audits, and prepare reports on the quality of the Mechanical systems Supervise the implementation of the contractor the Site Quality Plan and Site Quality Manual. Perform daily field inspections to verify contractor’s work complies with the project specifications, shop drawing, material approval and applicable codes. Perform material inspections to verify that the products are complies with specifications/material approval and that storage, staging and material handling methods are implemented. Audit subcontractor quality control procedures. Coordinate and scheduling for Offsite Equipment Source Inspections. Documenting all construction testing and inspection. Controlling of Nonconforming Product/Work. Controlling of Inspection, Measuring, and Test Equipment. Inspect all activities and performances at site are in accordance with the project specifications, shop drawing, material approval and applicable codes.
