Job Title: Cloud Support Management Engineer Location: Bangalore (Hybrid - 3 days Work From Office) Experience: 5+ years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Cloud Support Management Engineer to join our Network Security, Technology Risk, and Information Security team in Bangalore. This pivotal role is designed for a seasoned engineer with a deep understanding of complex cloud technologies and a proven track record in managing technical support functions within hybrid cloud environments. You will be instrumental in overseeing, managing, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure while ensuring robust security, compliance, and efficient incident response. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure Management & Operations: Oversee the operation and support of cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments. Manage provisioning, monitoring, performance tuning, and lifecycle management of cloud services and resources. Respond to infrastructure incidents and security alerts, identifying root causes and implementing long-term corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement efforts in cloud automation, infrastructure as code, and cost optimization. Coordinate day-to-day operations related to cloud infrastructure support, including incident response, service requests, and change management. Ensure timely resolution of escalated issues while maintaining high service quality and adherence to SLAs. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between infrastructure, DevOps, cloud security, compliance, and software engineering teams. Build playbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance team efficiency and knowledge sharing. Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Leverage Terraform to define, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure securely and efficiently. Build CI/CD pipelines to automate cloud deployment and configuration tasks using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps. Maintain infrastructure configurations in source control repositories (e.g., GitHub), ensuring best practices for version control and collaboration. Enforce policies and guardrails through code, ensuring consistent and compliant infrastructure environments. Security, Compliance & Risk: Implement and enforce security configurations, access control policies, and network segmentation in cloud environments (including Firewall/ACLs). Proactively identify security risks and recommend architectural improvements to mitigate vulnerabilities and exposure. Monitoring, Observability & Incident Response: Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions using various tools. Define and track key performance and reliability metrics to ensure cloud services meet operational expectations. Develop runbooks and escalation paths for responding to incidents across cloud platforms. Technical Expertise & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud support roles. Deep expertise in AWS, GCP, and Azure, with the ability to troubleshoot, architect, and secure complex deployments. Certifications required or strongly preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect / Engineer Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Solutions Architect Extensive experience with Terraform, infrastructure as code (IaC), and managing infrastructure in version-controlled repositories. Strong understanding of networking concepts in the cloud, including VPCs, firewalls, DNS, routing, load balancers, VPNs, and hybrid connectivity. Proven track record in managing technical support functions. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive continuous improvement. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
