If it aligns with your experience and aspirations, we’d love to hear from you!Role: DB2 Database Administrator z/OSLocation: HyderabadJob Type: Permanent - (Hybrid )Responsibilities:Participate in projects for deploying mySAP/Netweaver applications in a windows Z/OS Db2 stall, use and maintain Db2 software and supporting db2 utilities.Build and maintain Db2 subsystemsProvide DB2 and SAP basis support as needed to meet service level agreements for our development and production instances of Db2.Diagnose and tune performance issuesParticipate in design, setup and testing of back-up, recover and DR solutionsParticipate in root cause analysis of recurring problemsCreate documentation for problem resolutions to be used by other support group membersParticipate in weekly status reporting for issue identification and escalation.Participate in on call rotation to provide 7 x 24 supportContinually look for improvement opportunities in the Db2 space and recommend / implement as appropriateSkills needed:Experience in db2 technology including:DB2 Version 13.01.0002 (DB Release)Distributed Data Facility,DB2 Connect,Data Sharing/SysplexDb2 Utilities (IBM or 3 rd party) and monitoring toolsBasic Z/OS mainframe skillsUnderstanding of how Infrastructure relates across different technologiesAbility to participate in root cause analysis of technical issues.Logical, creative, problem solving and human relation skills.
