About Godrej Industries Ltd (Chemicals) GIL Chemicals is one of the oldest businesses of the Godrej Group. We have pioneered the manufacturing of oleo-chemicals venturing into the business in 1963. We produce a wide range of oleo chemical products derived from organic material. Our products cater to various market segments including personal care, pharmaceutical and food industries. As of today, we market over 100 chemicals that finds myriad applications in over 24 products. Keeping abreast of the evolving market, we have built our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located in Valia, Gujarat and in Ambernath, Maharashtra. We produce over 200,000 metric tonnes of chemical products annually, for use in home and personal care, rubber processing, polymer, pharmaceutical and industrial applications. We have an established international presence and are further expanding our business to tap unaddressed regional markets. Our products are exported to over 80 countries in North and South America, Asia, Europe, Australia and Africa. Focusing on innovation and best practices, we constantly get involved in collaborative partnerships and learn from stakeholders from across the globe. We continuously build on our product line by including value added specialty products. Furthermore, we also make considerable investments in Research and Development to enhance our capabilities, helping us diversify our product portfolio. We develop new products in our Research and Development Centre at Ambernath and a pilot plant at Valia. Key responsibilities Creating, supporting and driving digital transformation initiatives in the organization Evaluate, select, and implement and maintain digital technologies that enhance business processes including analytics, automation and integration systems Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive desired outcomes Liaise with external vendors/partners with regards to configuration, implementation and maintenance of digital solutions, Monitor and track quality and SLAs for support Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements. Map business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy business needs Create detailed project plans and successfully execute them, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, and in accordance with processes and quality standards Create measurable goals for projects and initiatives and track their progress Provide regular reports and updates on IT activities, performance metrics, and key initiatives Ensure adequate process controls, process documentation and process governance in applications being managed and provide support to internal and external application audits Ensure continuous improvements to the existing solutions to enhance user experience Ensure training of users on systems and processes and drive its adoption Collaborate with users to understand their needs and challenges and provide required support Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies and use this knowledge to recommend and implement solutions to create value for the organization Who are we looking for? Education: MCA or B. E. (Computers/ IT/ EC) MBA (preferred) Experience: 4+ years of experience working in digital transformation initiatives; Experience in SAP ERP and analytics solution is a plus Knowledge of programming languages, databases, cloud deployment required Experience and exposure in all phases of a project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, training, deployment of solutions, and post-production support/maintenance functions Min. 3 years of Project Management experience Awareness of information security guidelines and regulatory compliance Skills: Requirements gathering and analysis IT Project Management Partner and Solution Evaluation Stakeholder and team management Communication & interpersonal skills Data-driven decision making Proactive approach Problem Solving Critical Thinking Self-Learning and Exploration Experimenting What’s in it for you?
