The Boston Institute of Analytics (BIA) is looking for a Junior Academic Counselor in Goa, Panjjim to support our admissions and student counseling operations. As a Junior Academic Counselor, you will work closely under the guidance of a Senior Academic Counselor to assist prospective students through the admissions process, support lead engagement, and ensure accurate communication of BIA's programs and career outcomes. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1 year of experience looking to grow in the education industry and learn from a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. Key Responsibilities • Student Guidance: Assist in counseling students on BIA’s programs, course structure, eligibility, and career prospects under the supervision of the Senior Academic Counselor. • Admissions Coordination: Support the end-to-end admissions process including application tracking, interview coordination, and documentation follow-ups. • Lead Management: Follow up on student inquiries and leads via phone, email, or in-person meetings to support conversions. • Presentations & Online Sessions: Participate in online webinars, presentations, and counseling sessions to explain course benefits and industry outcomes. • Data Entry & CRM : Maintain up-to-date student records, feedback, and follow-ups in the CRM system or assigned platforms. • Market Awareness: Stay informed about trends in analytics, Ed Tech, and job opportunities to communicate effectively with students. • Team Collaboration: Work in alignment with the marketing and admissions teams to meet student intake and support goals set by the Senior Counselor. • Student Experience: Contribute to creating a positive and engaging experience for students and their families. Preferred Candidate Profile • Experience: Minimum 1 year in Ed Tech sales, academic counseling, or a similar role. • Communication: Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written); ability to engage confidently with students and parents. • Learning Attitude: Willingness to learn from senior team members and adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment. • Tech Familiarity: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and CRM platforms is preferred. • People Skills: Friendly, approachable, and proactive in assisting students and handling inquiries professionally.
