Job Description

Job Title: Programmer – Studio 5000 & Factory Talk We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Allen Bradley Programmer to join our automation engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Allen Bradley Control Logix PLCs, Factory Talk View Studio, and SCADA networking. You will be responsible for designing, programming, testing, and commissioning automation systems for industrial applications. Roles & Responsibilities: Design and develop PLC programs using Allen Bradley Control Logix and Studio 5000. Develop and configure HMI/SCADA applications using Factory Talk View Studio (ME/SE). Integrate PLCs with SCADA systems and ensure robust network communication (Ethernets/IP, Control Net, Device Net). Perform I/O mapping, logic development, and system testing. Collaborate with electrical and instrumentation teams for system integration. Maintain documentation including wiring diagrams, logic flowcharts, and user manuals. Maintain code documentation, version control, and test validation Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry best practices. Provide technical support and training to end-users and maintenance teams. Support on-site commissioning and troubleshooting of automation systems Required Skills & Qualifications: Technical Skills: Proficiency in Allen Bradley Control Logix, Compact Logix, and Studio 5000. Proficiency Ladder Logic, Functional Block Diagrams (FBD), Structured Text (ST) and IEC 61131 standards Ability to interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and instrumentation drawings Strong experience with Factory Talk View Studio ME/SE. Knowledge of SCADA architecture, networking protocols, and industrial communication (Ether Net/IP, OPC, Modbus TCP/IP). Familiarity with RSLogix 5000, RSLinx, and Panel View HMIs. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Willingness to travel for commissioning and support. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering. 3–7 years of relevant experience in industrial automation and PLC programming.
