This role is with one of our client companies which is a consultancy company specializing in establishing Digital Engineering practices and building the digital tapestry in organizations through formal Systems Engineering methodologies. With integrated digital engineering solutioning we assist organizations to solve engineering problems, embrace emerging technologies and achieve operational excellence. The role involves working on-site on the client's engagement with a PSU. Role: Systems Engineering Manager (Aerospace) Location: Bangalore Academic Qualification BE/ ME/ MTech in Electronics/ Avionics or equivalent Skill set Required Good knowledge of System engineering concepts, experience on SysML , UML based SE tools like DOORS, Rhapsody, Engineering workflow management etc. Working with various internal stakeholders to gather needs. Exposure to Military standards and DO-178B standards for development. Minimum experience required 8+ years of experience in industry. Aerospace & Defense Product Development Experience. Key Responsibilities Accountability for the progress of the contract activities and timely delivery of quality outputs by the team as per the agreed detailed roadmap Regular report to project team on the progress of the work packages. Weekly update meeting of the overall SE work progress including tasks completed and tasks planned to the concerned SE team of project office. Work with the System Engineer Principal to define the detailed roadmap for the contract activities to cover the work package definition Planning and execution of coordinated system development/customization activities with the IBM SE team for automation of the SE processes using IBM SE tools Support and coordinate with the various work groups and work centers of the project for the adoption of the SE processes Based on the discussions with and directions from project team, clearly define and support the quality plan and certification plan Soft Skills (Must have) Good verbal and written communication skills.
