Position: Manager - Design Experience: 12+ Years As the Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining, evolving, and executing the brand’s visual identity across all internal and external touchpoints. This position is built on three core pillars: overseeing daily design operations, nurturing and leading the creative team, and delivering a seamless, high-impact brand experience across digital, physical, and retail environments. You will serve as the custodian of the brand’s aesthetics, ensuring consistency, innovation, and customer-centricity in every design output. Job Description: 1. Design Operations & Creative Oversight Manage the end-to-end execution of daily design requirements across departments including Marketing, Product, HR, Internal Communications, and Events. Lead the development and delivery of high-quality creative assets across digital, print, motion, video, and UI/UX formats. Maintain, evolve, and govern the brand design system to ensure consistency and alignment across all channels and materials. Prioritize, delegate, and oversee design tasks to meet deadlines while balancing business priorities and team workloads. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand creative briefs, provide strategic input, and translate requirements into visually compelling solutions. Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies to continually enhance the brand's creative output. 2. Team Leadership & Mentorship Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary design team including graphic designers, UI/UX designers, and motion/visual storytellers. Conduct regular design reviews to ensure adherence to brand standards, design excellence, and alignment with creative strategy. Foster a collaborative, open, and feedback-driven team culture that encourages innovation and growth. Identify skill gaps and training needs, and provide learning opportunities to elevate team capabilities. Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular one-on-one meetings, and facilitate performance appraisals and development plans. Serve as a role model for creative leadership and cross-functional collaboration. 3. Customer Experience & Brand Touchpoints Own and enhance the visual brand experience across all customer interaction points, ensuring consistency, memorability, and brand integrity: Office Environments: Oversee visual branding in visitor areas, internal spaces, signage, and installations to reflect the brand identity. Website & Social Media: Collaborate with digital, marketing, and content teams to maintain visual consistency across websites, social media platforms, campaigns, and digital ads. Mobile Apps & Product UI: Partner with product and technology teams to ensure intuitive, visually aligned, and user-centric app and interface designs. Retail / POS Environments: Lead or review in-store branding, visual merchandising, signage, displays, and promotional materials to deliver a cohesive retail experience. Brand Audits: Conduct regular audits of customer-facing materials, physical spaces, and platforms to ensure freshness, consistency, and high impact. Expectations & Impact: Act as the guardian of the brand’s visual language and design integrity across all mediums. Ensure all creative output aligns with business objectives, customer expectations, and market dynamics. Drive agility and efficiency within the design function without compromising quality. Collaborate across departments to deliver a unified, memorable brand presence. Champion design thinking, innovation, and a customer-first mindset within the organization. Support broader brand-building efforts through strategic and creative leadership. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 12+ years of experience in graphic design, visual communications, or related fields, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role. Proven experience managing creative teams and delivering across multiple channels (digital, print, UI/UX, video, and retail environments). Strong portfolio showcasing excellence in brand systems, visual storytelling, and cross-platform design. Deep understanding of design principles, branding, UI/UX fundamentals, and customer-centric design. Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.). Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to balance creative vision with business priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Attributes Experience working with consumer brands, technology products, or retail environments. Exposure to motion design, video content creation, or environmental branding is a plus. Passion for building teams, fostering creative talent, and driving innovation.
