Associate Manager- Finance Controllership (AMC) Location: Bangalore About the Team The Finance Controllership team at Navi is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s financial activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. The team manages day-to-day accounting operations, monitors financial health, and drives initiatives to enhance financial performance and transparency. About the Role As an Associate Manager in the Finance Controllership (AMC) team, you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end financial reporting and compliance processes for Navi Mutual Fund. From leading statutory audits and ensuring timely reconciliations to monitoring daily NAV, TER, and regulatory requirements, you'll be responsible for driving accuracy, transparency, and compliance in financial operations. This role demands strong technical knowledge, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate across internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, fund accountants, and RTAs. What We Expect From You Ensure closure of unaudited Mutual Fund scheme financials on a half-yearly basis. Lead statutory audit closure and preparation of final scheme financials for Navi Mutual Fund. Monitor and ensure timely closure of the following reconciliations : Holding reconciliation – Daily Redemption liability reconciliation – Daily Switch liability reconciliation – Daily Subscription reconciliation – Monthly Oversee daily NAV publication and overseas investment monitoring/reporting . Manage day-to-day accounting and TER monitoring . Conduct monthly trial balance scrutiny for Mutual Fund schemes. Regularly monitor buffer/spillover to prevent breaches from declared TER . Track Net Worth and liquid deployment to ensure compliance with regulatory limits . Ensure ongoing compliance with SEBI seed capital requirements . Provide data for Quarterly and Half-Yearly Trustee Reports filed with SEBI. Act as liaison between RTA and Fund Accountant for accounting/reconciliation issues. Drive process improvements and ensure quality inputs from internal stakeholders and RTA . Handle ad-hoc SEBI/AMFI requirements as they arise. Must Haves Qualified CA with 1+ year of relevant work experience. Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting and Ind-AS . Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify process gaps and risks. Ability to manage various audits and collaborate across teams for timely closure. High ownership mindset with adaptability to changing regulatory compliances .
