Job Title: Prepress Operations Manager -(Technical Support) Job Location : Mumbai(onsite) Experience: 10+years Position Summary & Scope Provide support as help desk, maintain uptime of all the production services and error free page reception at the press; attend workflow problems; support execution of special projects / launch of new products with the objective of ensuring smooth and timely release of editions of all the publications Areas of Responsibility •Operations and Production Assurance: Provide technical support to editorial and ensure that services for pictures, advertisements, graphics, text and other production workflow systems are available to Editorial for page makeup; Resolve application issues and make profiles changes as per Press requirement in RIP and CMS. Monitor workflow for page reception at press after Editorial generates the pdf; in order to ensure production issues are taken care and for timely transmission of all the editions to press. •Coordination with other departments: Coordinate with Response, Editorial and Press; provide helpdesk support to users in order to ensure smooth release of edition. •Process improvements, Implementation and Training in EWF projects: Identify redundant processes in workflows and suggest changes to improve production efficiency; reduce processing time and cost; plan, monitor, support to launch of new products in order to enhance the efficiency of processes.
