Roles and Responsibilities: Echocardiography technicians are involved in creating images of the heart, cardiac chambers, valves, and vessels to assess heart function and diagnose heart ailments. You will be responsible for interviewing the patients and reviewing their medical records so that you may adapt your sonographic techniques as necessity dictates. You will provide patient care, such as preparing the patients for the sonographic imaging and providing them with instructions during the echocardiograph so that the images turn out properly. To have a career as a cardiac echo technician, you will be required to learn cardiac terminology to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff. You will also have to learn how to work and operate the cardiac equipment commonly used in hospitals and medical centres. Attention to detail and tolerance for long work days are additional necessary skills. As part of the job you will be responsible for: ● Completeness of study acquisition adhering to the specified protocol - For both Adult and Pediatric patients ● Responsible for the quality acquisition of the study ● Thorough knowledge of various Tricog study protocols ● Training the physicians on the quality acquisition of studies ● Training on analyzing tools like Tricog viewer and case upload ● Work closely with cardiologists/in-house reporting doctors evaluating the findings and continuously improving the quality of the studies ● Analyzing and reporting the echo studies ● Creating and delivering the reports to the patient/ hospital authorities ● Participating in the Research and Development work ● Responsible for creating the annotations required for AI algorithm training ● Participating in usability studies and tool development improvements Required skill set: 1. 2-5 years of working experience as an Echocardiographer 2. Educational Qualification: B.Sc Cardiac Technology / Diploma in Cardiac Technology 3. Pediatric echo exposure is a value addition 4. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills 5. Ability to learn new skills and adapt quickly to the dynamic work environment. 6. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
