Location:  Bangalore Type:  Full-time Experience:  Min 5 years Reports To:  Founder (for next couple of quarters) About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant  who can independently manage bookkeeping, taxation, payroll, and all statutory filings . This is a high-ownership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can take full charge of our finance function, from recording entries to ensuring 100% compliance. Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Financial Operations Maintain accurate books in Zoho Books for both India + US Reconcile accounts: bank, vendors, receivables, and advances Maintain fixed asset register and run monthly/quarterly depreciation Statutory Compliance (Fully Owned) File monthly GST returns  (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 annually) Handle TDS deduction, payment, and return filing  (24Q, 26Q, etc.) Generate and distribute Form 16 / 16A File and manage PF, ESI, and Professional Tax  returns Maintain required registers and coordinate with relevant portals (TRACES, GSTN, EPFO) Payroll and Vendor Payments Process monthly salaries, advances, reimbursements, and PF/ESI deductions Handle payout requests and coordinate vendor payments through banking platforms Reporting & Audit Prepare monthly MIS reports : P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Coordinate internal and statutory audits with Big4, including data prep and follow-ups Assist with investor finance requests and due diligence documentation Requirements CA is a must Min 5 years of full-spectrum accounting and compliance experience Proficient in Zoho Books , Excel, and government filing portals (GST, TDS, PF) Deep understanding of Indian tax laws and compliance cycles Highly reliable, process-driven, and proactive communicator. SAAS experience is a must.
