Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement officer based in Mumbai, India. The Procurement officer will handle daily tasks such as sourcing and purchasing materials for our offshore and Shipping clients. Negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Additional responsibilities include overseeing procurement budgets, evaluating vendors, and maintaining procurement records. Meeting Monthly sales Targets. The Procurement officer will be reporting to Procurement Manager on daily basis. Experience, Skills and Qualifications Strong negotiation, vendor management, and client management skills Good relationship with Shipping companies and material vendor is a plus Experience in strategic sourcing and procurement planning Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite Great written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team Previous experience in a procurement role, preferably in a similar industry Candidate from Trading background preferred. Salary Salary will on par with Industry standard.
