The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Kannada and South Indian cinema and the ability to report timely, engaging, and exclusive stories in a multimedia-first newsroom environment.Reporter with the following skills:A good command over language, and writing styleAbility to sniff out stories that come under topics like entertainment, city and lifestyleAn understand of local (Kannada) and south cinema, preferably with reporting experience on the Kannada film and TV industryAbility to execute stories within stipulated deadlinesMultimedia skills pertaining to video makingUnderstands social media trends and how to capitalize on themAbility to work on pages - editing, proofing within stipulated deadlinesEducational Qualifications :Graduation degree in any discipline preferably in English with degree or diploma in journalism/mass communicationYears of Experience: 1 to 2 years
