Scope of Service: All Clinical Areas within the OrganizationProfessional & Educational Qualification:Bachelors in Nursing / Preferably Masters in NursingValid State Registration in India if not from Maharashtra Nursing Council3.Desirable Certification:Certified Internal auditor / any other quality accreditation from a reputed organizationPreferred Certification in Nursing Administration or any other management program.Evidence of participation in various programs & update & maintain current professional knowledge & clinical skills.4.Professional Experience:Total 5 years’ experience out of which has worked as Quality Nurse at least for 2 years.Should be well versed in written & verbal languages – English, Hindi & Marathi.Computer proficiency in Microsoft office – word, excel, power point & email communication.Excellent Communication & interpersonal skills5.Core Job Responsibilities & SkillsTo develop and assist with the implementation of policies and procedures for the quality assurance and improvement function of Nursing Services as per NABH standards and other accrediting agencies and regulatory bodies.To act as a Liaison between Quality and Nursing department for improving function of Nursing Services, to assure improved compliance with all NABH and other accrediting agencies and regulatory bodiesTo Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care services providedTo conducting audits and investigations to identify areas of non-compliance or potential riskTo conduct training and educating staff on quality measures and compliance regulationsTo conduct incident investigations, including root cause, “near miss” and sentinel eventTo analyse and validate data collected from the units through various sources & use the findings and conclusions to influence the revision of the total patient care plan or program / processes in collaboration with other health disciplinesTo recommend, monitor & implement quality improvement projects within the clinical areasTo preparing reports on quality management activities and results for healthcare managementTo participate in accreditation and certification processesStaying updated with the latest trends and advancements in healthcare quality management
