Job description of Freshers CA Mumbai.A brief about our company and the structure - We are an investment management company (IMC) to a 2 Category III AIF schemesWe are looking for a fresher CA to join the Operations Team of the company.Initially the role would revolve around the accounting, audit, and other compliances of the IMC along with risk and compliance activities of the schemes.Accounting and payroll of the company are outsourced to a CA proprietor firm. Bookkeeping and accounts will be maintained by this firm.Candidates have to review and check the data prepared by the CA firm. The role would be more centred towards data processing, reviewing, and keeping internal checks. For example, monthly TDS and GST workings prepared by the CA firm will have to be reviewed by the candidate. All statutory returns will be filed by the outsourced firms. Candidates are expected to review the data and make sure it is in order with the company records and policies.The role would also involve cash flow management activities, invoice and payment processing, computation of advance tax liabilities on quarterly basis. Candidates will be responsible for coordinating with statutory auditors and candidates will be assisted by the CA firm.With regard to the scheme activities, candidates will be dealing with Distributors (who bring investors/business to our schemes), Brokers (for empanelment and daily trade processing), and other risk management activities like VWAP analysis, share capital reconciliation, tax data calculation, NAV calculation and routine activities of the schemes like reporting available funds and portfolio to Fund Managers.
