About the Vacancy As a Project Manager - Sustainability at NewCold, you will be a key member of our team committed to advancing global energy and sustainability initiatives. Your role will focus on three main areas: concept design of renewable energy integration, contractor selection and contract negotiations, and the preparation of business cases and capital expenditure requests, culminating in the management of the implementation process. Additionally, you will lead the sustainability team within India, including two sustainability analysts and one junior project manager. Key Responsibilities • Develop and conceptualize designs for integrating renewable energy technologies into existing and new infrastructures. • Lead the selection and negotiation processes with contractors and vendors for renewable energy projects. • Prepare comprehensive business cases and capital expenditure requests to support project funding and resource allocation. • Oversee the implementation of renewable energy projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with strategic objectives. • Stay updated on industry advancements and contribute insights to company strategies to maintain a competitive edge. • Lead and manage the sustainability team in India, including two sustainability analysts and one junior project manager, ensuring effective collaboration and project execution. Who Are We Looking For? You have: • A bachelor’s degree in project management, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. • Deep knowledge of principles, practices, and theories within the field of Electrical Engineering. • Over 5 years of experience in project management of renewable energy projects. • Experience in selecting contractors, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with vendors and stakeholders. • Proficiency in preparing business cases, capital expenditure requests, budgeting, and financial forecasting for large-scale projects. • Experience with the design, setup, and implementation of energy parks or similar large-scale renewable energy installations. • Familiarity with current market trends, technological advancements, and innovations in the renewable energy and sustainability sectors. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Strong intercultural communication skills. • High proficiency in English
