Together, we look forward to building a cleaner tomorrow, powered by innovation, responsibility, and shared growth.Job Summary:We are looking for a hands-on and technically proficient EV Battery Pack Repair Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and validating high-voltage (HV) battery packs from electric vehicles. You will play a key role in restoring battery systems to OEM standards and supporting process development for battery pack repair and rework. Willingness to work in either Pune (Chakan) or Ahmedabad is a mandatory requirement.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair high-voltage battery packs returned from the field, including cell/module replacement, BMS recalibration, and electrical fault correction.Perform root cause analysis of failed battery packs, components, or sub-systems (modules, contactors, cooling systems, etc.). Follow and refine repair procedures, safety protocols, and quality checklists for HV battery pack handling and repair. Use diagnostic software, CAN tools, and electrical test equipment to evaluate and troubleshoot issues.Ensure proper documentation of all repair processes, test results, and pack traceability. Support the development and optimization of repair workstations, tools, and testing fixtures. Adhere to industry safety standards for high-voltage systems, including PPE use, lockout/tagout, and fire risk mitigation.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Energy Systems, or related field.Associate degree with strong hands-on experience will also be considered.Experience:2+ years of hands-on experience with lithium-ion battery pack repair, testing, or assembly.Experience with HV systems (up to 800V) in an automotive or energy storage context.Familiarity with battery management systems (BMS), thermal management, and HV interlocks.Skills:Proficient in using multimeters, insulation resistance testers, and CAN analyzers.Strong mechanical skills for pack disassembly and reassembly.Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and schematics.Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.Comfortable working in a high-voltage lab or workshop environment.
