Administrative Accountant ( 30K-40K /month, full time, 6 days/ week)Company Description Founded in 2010 by four passionate animal lovers, YODA (Youth Organization in Defence of Animals) is a registered charity based in Mumbai dedicated to improving human-animal coexistence. YODA provides prompt medical services for abandoned, injured, or mistreated homeless animals and offers behavioral rehabilitation for mentally disturbed animals. The organization shelters and rehabilitates homeless or elderly animals until they are fit for adoption or release. YODA also conducts vaccination and sterilization programs to control the stray population and prevent transmittable diseases. Additionally, they focus on education and awareness to prevent animal cruelty.Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Administrative Accountant located in Mumbai. The Administrative Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations including preparing financial statements, managing invoicing, and maintaining bookkeeping records. The role also involves general accounting duties, analyzing financial data, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support organisational goals. Further the person will be expected to help documentation with external parties like utilisation certificates for donors and reports for government partners subsidising our operations. Expected to also talk to vendors and amitnin healthy inventory for our medical operations and facilities management.Qualifications Expertise in preparing Financial Statements and general Accounting Worked on inventory and facilities management. Strong Bookkeeping and Invoicing skills with TALLY and EXCEL expertise Excellent Analytical Skills for financial data interpretation and decision-making Proficient in accounting software and other financial tools Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Experience working in a non-profit or charity organization is a plus Appreciates the cause and is comfortable with animals and environment of an animal shelter Ability to lease with government officials, regulatory bodies, donors and vendors to maintain healthy operations.
