Role Overview:Microland is looking for a highly experiencedSenior Solution Architectto join our Cloud, Datacenter & Applications Practice in Bangalore. This leader will play a critical role institching together complex, multi-tower IT infrastructure deals , often involving diverse technologies such as cloud, networking, datacenter, security, and applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong solutioning experience, andexceptional collaboration skillsto align cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and partners in the pursuit of strategic enterprise opportunities.Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end solution architecture for complex, multi-tower IT infrastructure deals. Work closely with clients to understand business and technical requirements and shape them into comprehensive, tailored solutions. Collaborate across internal practices, SMEs, sales, and delivery teamsto build integrated solution blueprints and technical roadmaps. Orchestrate and own the response process for large-scale RFPs, including solution design, documentation, pricing input, and executive presentations. Ensure seamless integration across technology domains—cloud, datacenter, networking, security, and applications. Work with strategic partners and vendors to incorporate third-party tools and services into the solution ecosystem. Drive innovation through the adoption of emerging technologies, automation, and modern architecture paradigms (cloud-native, DevOps, AIOps). Provide leadership and mentorship to junior architects and presales professionals. Ensure proposed solutions are cost-optimized, scalable, secure, and aligned with customer needs.Required Skills & Experience: 18+ years of experience in IT architecture, solutioning, or enterprise architecture roles. Minimum 15 years in IT infrastructure presales, RFP responses, and deal orchestration for large enterprise environments. Expertise in developing integrated solutions across multiple technology towers. Strong experience working in or with global system integrators (GSIs) on large, multi-year transformation deals. Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud strategies. Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF). Familiarity with DevOps, automation tools, ITIL processes, and service management platforms. Excellentcollaboration, stakeholder management, and communication skills , with a track record of influencing CxO-level decision-makers. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, ITIL) preferred.
