About the Team The Public Policy & Government Affairs team at Navi plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's external advocacy efforts by engaging key stakeholders in the BFSI space including various trade associations, sector regulators, government departments, academia and think tanks. Through strategic advocacy and relationship-building, the team fosters an enabling environment for progressive policy formation for the broader fintech/ BFSI community, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and addressing emerging challenges.About the Role This role is focused on driving strategic engagement with regulators, government bodies, and key external stakeholders to support Navi’s business objectives. It plays a critical part in navigating the regulatory landscape, advocating policy positions, and fostering partnerships to advance financial inclusion through technology.What We Expect From You Building and nurturing relationships and partnerships with the regulators and the government departments through positive contribution to the policy formulation process. Track all regulatory developments that could have an impact on the company’s business plans. Identify, anticipate, the potential regulatory threats and develop mitigation plans with the relevant stakeholders. Pro-active engagement with the relevant internal and external stakeholders including the regulatory/ government agencies to ensure business continuity. Working closely with various stakeholders including the industry bodies, academia, think tanks to pursue the policy goals in line with the government priority of increasing financial inclusion in the country. Develop advocacy plans on the important policy issues and to do pro-active engagement with multiple stakeholders for positive outcome.Need to have 10+ years of high quality experience of working in a challenging multi stakeholder environment High standard of ethics and integrity Ability to develop and implement effective government relations strategies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong networking skills; Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders Ability to represent the organization in public forums Energetic, with a solution-oriented mindset and positive attitude.
