Job Title: Salesforce Platform Architect Type - Contract Location - RemoteIntroduction:We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Platform Architect to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving the technical strategy and architecture of our Salesforce platform, ensuring it aligns with our organizational goals and enhances our customer relationship management capabilities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in transforming our Salesforce environment, integrating it with other enterprise systems, and leading the migration from Salesforce Classic to Lightning.Roles and Responsibilities: -Define Salesforce Strategy and Architecture:Develop and maintain a strategic vision for the Salesforce platform that aligns with the organization's business objectives and enterprise architecture standards. -Lead Salesforce Implementations:Oversee the technical architecture for Salesforce projects, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and efficient. -Cross-Platform Integration:Design and implement robust integrations between Salesforce and internal systems such as ERP, marketing automation tools, and customer service platforms using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools. -Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate with business leaders, product managers, and developers to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure projects align with business goals. -Governance and Standards:Establish governance frameworks, architecture guidelines, and best practices for Salesforce development, including data management and security protocols. -Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for platform enhancements and automation to improve sales, service, and customer experience processes. -Vendor Management:Coordinate with Salesforce and other technology vendors to leverage product capabilities and manage system upgrades. -Mentor and Lead Teams:Provide leadership and mentoring to technical and business teams, guiding them on Salesforce platform usage and development best practices.Qualifications: -Experience:8+ years of overall experience in Salesforce, with at least 3 years in a Salesforce Architect role. -Expertise:Strong expertise in Salesforce Communities and Experience Clouds. -Integration Experience:Proven experience designing and implementing Salesforce integrations with other enterprise systems. -Technical Proficiency:Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Framework, and Salesforce APIs. -Agile Methodologies:Experience working in Agile environments. -DevOps and CI/CD:Demonstrated expertise in DevOps practices and CI/CD processes. -Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Tools and Technologies: - Salesforce Platform (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Framework) - Salesforce APIs - DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines - Integration tools (APIs, middleware, ETL tools) - Agile project management toolsPlusses: - CRM Analytics or Data Cloud experience. - Experience with data architecture, security, and governance frameworks for Salesforce platforms. - Salesforce Architect certifications. - Prior experience working in open source or technology-driven organizations.
