This is a criticalindividual contributorrole suited for a senior-level professional capable of working independently and managing infrastructure with minimal oversight.Roles and Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain large-scale production databases across MS SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL • Plan, implement, and maintain complete DC and DR database infrastructure • Administer database lifecycle activities including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, tuning, and backups • Design and implementhigh availability (HA)anddisaster recovery (DR)architectures with minimal RTO/RPO • Monitor performance and optimize queries, indexing, and storage for maximum efficiency • Handle proactive capacity planning, performance tuning, and storage optimization • Enforce database security, encryption, user access controls, and compliance policies • Manage data flows and access acrosssegmented network environments , includingDMZ zones • Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to ensure end-to-end operational continuity • Conduct root cause analysis for incidents, failures, or anomalies and implement corrective actions • Maintain detailed documentation for architecture, processes, configuration, and standard operating procedures • Stay informed of emerging database technologies, security trends, and regulatory updates • Support audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments as required by internal and regulatory bodiesRequirements Technical & Professional Skills: • Minimum 8 years of experience managing enterprise-scale databases in production environments • Deep proficiency inMS SQL Server ,Oracle , andMySQLadministration • Solid understanding ofHA/DR configurations ,replication ,clustering , anddatabase mirroring • Experience working in secure environments withfirewalls ,DMZs , andnetwork segmentation • Familiarity withenterprise-grade monitoring toolsand alert systems (dashboard-based or script-driven) • Strong command overbackup/restore strategies ,disaster recovery drills , andfailover planning • Scripting and automation proficiency (e.g., SQL, PowerShell, Bash) • Exposure to regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g.,ISO 27001 ,SAMA ) is a plus • ITIL-based incident/change management process experience is an advantagePersonal Attributes: • Independent, self-motivated, and capable of taking full ownership of assigned environments • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills • Calm under pressure with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities • Immediate availability is preferred • Willingness to be deployed to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
