Job Title: Automation Architect – UI/API/Performance (JavaScript, Cloud, AI Exposure) Location: Bangalore Experience: 8+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Architect to lead the design and development of robust automation frameworks with a strong emphasis on JavaScript , cloud technologies , AI-driven QA innovation , and security best practices . This role is within the fintech domain , where a deep understanding of security and compliance is critical. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing AI-based QA solutions , strong expertise in UI and API automation, and a keen awareness of the unique security considerations required for financial applications. This is a hands-on technical leadership position with minimal people management responsibilities . Key Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable and maintainable UI automation frameworks using JavaScript (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Webdeiver.io) and BDD (Cucumber). Build robust API automation using Rest Assured, BDD, or equivalent tools. Define and lead performance testing strategies (tools such as JMeter, Gatling). Architect and implement AI-based solutions for test case generation, optimization, execution, and results analysis tailored for QA. Ensure automation frameworks and solutions align with security and compliance standards relevant to the fintech industry. Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Maven, TestNG, and Allure. Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to embed automation in the SDLC , with an emphasis on secure coding and testing practices . Drive test automation strategy and provide architectural guidance across QA teams. Stay current on emerging trends in QA automation, AI in testing, and cybersecurity , especially in regulated environments. Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on JavaScript-based frameworks . Strong hands-on expertise in: UI automation (Selenium, WebDriver.io, Playwright, Cucumber) API automation (Rest Assured, BDD frameworks) Performance testing tools and approaches Proven experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, TestNG, Git, and Allure. Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) – mandatory . Demonstrated experience building or integrating AI-based QA solutions . Solid understanding of security best practices , particularly in fintech or regulated domains . Excellent knowledge of test design, QA architecture, and modern automation strategies. Strong communication and technical leadership skills. Nice to Have: Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) Familiarity with service virtualization and test data management tools Exposure to secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, SOC 2)
