The ideal candidate should be proficient in Java, XML, JSON , and RESTful web services , with a strong understanding of Microservices architecture and Test-Driven Development (TDD) . Key Responsibilities: Customize and enhance IBM Sterling OMS for omnichannel use cases (Call Center, Store UI). Design and develop front-end interfaces for Store and Call Center applications using IBM Sterling. Develop and integrate REST APIs and web services to expose OMS functionalities across platforms. Work on Java-based backend components and ensure smooth data flow via XML/JSON messaging. Implement and maintain microservices for scalable and secure integration. Follow Test Driven Development (TDD) principles and write comprehensive unit test cases . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure security, scalability, and performance of all OMS integrations and customizations. Required Skills: Strong experience with IBM Sterling Order Management System and Omnichannel implementation . Experience in customizing Call Center and Store UIs . Expertise in Java , XML , JSON , and REST APIs . Hands-on experience with Web Services (SOAP/REST) . Good understanding of Microservices architecture and API security (OAuth, JWT, etc.). Strong knowledge of TDD and writing unit tests using JUnit/TestNG or similar. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve OMS and integration issues quickly. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud deployments (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc.). Familiarity with DevOps tools for CI/CD. Understanding of retail, eCommerce, or supply chain domain.
