Primary responsibilities of the Role: Lead and manage the RPA Centre of Excellence (CoE), setting strategic direction, governance, and the operating model Own and administer the Automation Anywhere Control Room across all environments (Dev, UAT, Prod), including bot runners, device pools, credentials vaults, and access control. Define and enforce automation standards, coding best practices, and development methodologies across the RPA lifecycle Provide technical leadership to RPA developers, including mentoring, reviewing solution designs, and conducting peer code reviews to ensure quality and compliance Lead resolution of complex technical issues, assist developers with debugging and performance tuning of bots. Oversee the end-to-end development process, from intake and design through deployment and hyper care Conduct architecture and design reviews, propose enhancements for existing automations, and guide solution reusability Maintain detailed platform documentation, including configuration, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks Stay current with emerging technologies, including Generative AI, and evaluate their application in automation programs Track and report on platform metrics, bot performance, adoption trends, and return on investment to leadership Oversee platform-level activities including license planning, renewals, upgrades, and health check Key Technical Skills: 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in RPA architecture and platform leadership Certified and experienced in Automation Anywhere A360; knowledge of Blue Prism or UiPath is a plus Proven experience in enterprise-level automation architecture involving multiple systems and ERPs Deep understanding of Automation Anywhere Control Room, device pools, credential lockers, and admin configurations Experience in RPA platform installation, upgrades, patching, and environment setup (on-prem/cloud) Strong knowledge of API integrations, bot orchestration, and external application connectivity Proficient in SQL for querying bot logs, auditing, and reporting Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, and capability-building for RPA teams Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and stakeholder communication skills Ability to evaluate new technologies (e.g., Gen AI, process mining) and incorporate into CoE strategy
