About the Role : We're hiring a Senior Backend Automation Test Engineer to lead AI-driven test automation for our scalable B2B platform. This role is pure automation (zero manual testing) with a deep focus on backend systems—APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and event-driven workflows. You'll also explore AI/ML techniques to build smarter, self-healing, and predictive test systems. Responsibilities : Develop AI-augmented automation for REST/gRPC APIs, services, and async flows (Kafka/RabbitMQ/SQS). Use ML to generate edge cases, detect anomalies, and predict risk areas. Build test frameworks with visual validation and self-healing capabilities. Integrate tests into CI/CD and optimize execution via AI-powered orchestration. Validate data, business logic, and schema contracts (PACT, OpenAPI). Drive intelligent test reporting with ML-based failure and flakiness insights. Research emerging AI testing tools (Applitools, Testim, LLMs, etc.). Requirements : 3+ years in backend test automation (Python or Java preferred). Strong in API test tools (RestAssured, PyTest, Karate), SQL/NoSQL validation. Experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), service mocks, and contract testing. Understanding of ML fundamentals (model training, evaluation). Proven ability to build automation frameworks from scratch. Nice to Have : Hands-on with AI testing tools or ML libraries (TensorFlow, Keras). LLM-based testing (test generation, synthetic data, anomaly detection).
