We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our growing product and engineering team. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our educational platform is reliable, intuitive, and delivers an exceptional, bug-free experience for our diverse user base, from students and teachers to administrators. The ideal candidate is a natural problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a deep commitment to delivering high-quality, stable software that truly impacts learning. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to rigorously test new features, identify and diagnose bugs, and help maintain the highest standards of software quality across all aspects of the EdPi platform. Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on EdPi's product requirements and specifications. Perform manual and exploratory testing across EdPi's web and mobile platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and an optimal learning experience. Identify, document, and track bugs and inconsistencies with clear, concise reproduction steps using established bug tracking systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., development, business analysts, external vendors) to understand integration points and potential impact areas. Conduct regression testing on integrated workflows to ensure new features or fixes in one system do not adversely connected processes.. Contribute to building and enhancing a robust QA process specifically tailored for an educational technology environment, including documentation, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives. Clearly and proactively communicate testing outcomes, quality risks, and progress to stakeholders (product, engineering, operations). Continuously improve QA workflows and suggest ways to optimize test coverage and efficiency, particularly in an EdTech context. Develop and execute end-to-end integration test scenarios to validate data flow and functionality across interconnected systems. Identify and document data mapping errors, transformation issues, and broken communication links between integrated modules. Utilize monitoring tools to observe data integrity and process execution status during integration tests. Contribute to the automation of integration tests to ensure efficient and repeatable validation of complex workflows. Participate in defining integration test strategies, data setup requirements, and environment configurations for integrated systems. What We’re Looking For:2–4 years of experience in software testing or QA roles, preferably within a SaaS or EdTech environment. Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies. Experience using tools for test case management, bug tracking, API testing, and browser developer tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating clear, actionable bug reports and comprehensive documentation. Ability to think critically from an educator's, student's, or administrator's perspective and anticipate edge cases, usability issues, and learning pathway disruptions. Basic knowledge of API testing, version control (Git), and HTML/CSS is a plus. Bonus Points For:Experience in automation testing using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Exposure to performance testing or security testing tools, especially relevant for user data and platform scalability. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated QA integrations in a continuous deployment environment. Passion for education or prior experience with educational software.
