Job Summary: As the Head of Corporate Environmental Responsibility, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the company’s environmental sustainability initiatives. You will drive the development and execution of impactful environmental policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and elevate the company’s engagement with communities and stakeholders. This role requires a visionary leader who can integrate environmental responsibility into business operations and culture while fostering external partnerships to advance sustainability goals. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Environmental Stewardship: Define and lead the company’s overall environmental responsibility strategy aligned with corporate goals and ESG commitments. Oversee compliance with environmental regulations, standards, and certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, GHG Protocol). Guide the measurement, monitoring, and transparent reporting of environmental performance metrics, including carbon footprint, waste reduction, water usage, and energy efficiency. Lead preparation and presentation of sustainability disclosures and reports for investors, regulators, and public stakeholders. Corporate-Community Partnership & Outreach: Champion and expand the company’s environmental outreach programs with communities, NGOs, government bodies, and other external stakeholders. Foster strategic partnerships that promote environmental education, conservation, and sustainable development in communities impacted by company operations. Represent the company as a thought leader at industry forums, conferences, and public engagements. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Organizational Integration: Collaborate with executive leadership and departments such as HR, Legal, Operations, Procurement, and Communications to embed environmental responsibility into the company’s culture and decision-making. Oversee the integration of environmental goals into corporate policies, employee engagement programs, and supply chain management. Lead and mentor a team of sustainability professionals to execute projects effectively and foster continuous improvement. Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in environmental management, corporate sustainability, or related leadership roles. Proven track record of leading successful environmental programs and managing complex stakeholder relationships. Deep understanding of environmental regulations, ESG frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD), and sustainability reporting standards. Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
