Job Description

The Senior SEO Specialist is responsible for growing greytHR’s organic footprint across India, South Asia, and the Middle East. This role requires a deep understanding of search engine optimization practices—both technical and content-driven—and a strong analytical mindset to monitor, measure, and improve performance. Core Responsibilities: Conduct regular SEO audits (technical, on-page, and content) using tools like Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console. Identify SEO opportunities across website structure, metadata, content, and internal linking. Develop and execute strategies to improve keyword rankings, grow organic traffic, and increase conversions. Monitor site performance and crawl behavior using GA4, GSC, and other analytics tools. Collaborate with content and web development teams to implement SEO best practices. Create performance reports and dashboards to communicate SEO impact to stakeholders. Stay updated on Google algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly. Implement structured data (schema markup) to improve rich result eligibility. Support localization and international SEO efforts across regions. Begin exploring LLM and AI-driven SEO enhancements (e.g., optimizing for AI-generated answers, voice search, etc.). Technical/Operational Responsibilities: Hands-on experience in resolving crawl errors, page speed issues, and other technical blockers. Knowledge of CMS platforms like WordPress or page builder to make SEO-led changes directly. Ability to read and interpret HTML, XML sitemaps, and JavaScript for SEO impact. Manage SEO tools stack and maintain tag integrity in collaboration with web team. Required Skills & Competencies Technical Skills: Deep understanding of SEO principles (on-page, off-page, and technical SEO) Familiarity with tools like: Google Search Console, GA4 SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix Tag Manager and schema implementation Understanding of LLM optimization and generative search Knowledge of international SEO, hreflang tags, and localization strategies CMS and basic HTML/CSS proficiency Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field 5–7 years of relevant SEO experience, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment Prior experience working with international websites and multiple domains is a plus
