About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Counsel to join our leadership team. This role requires deep expertise in both U.S. and Indian legal systems , and will be responsible for overseeing all legal affairs across our global operations. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the chief legal advisor to the executive team and board of directors. Provide expert counsel on corporate, commercial, employment, compliance, and regulatory matters in both the U.S. and India. Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, agreements, and transactions across jurisdictions. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Manage litigation, disputes, and external legal counsel in the U.S. and India. Develop and implement legal policies, procedures, and risk management strategies. Stay updated on legislative and regulatory changes affecting the company in both regions. Support M&A activities, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. Requirements: JD or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution; admission to practice law in at least one U.S. state and in India preferred. Minimum 10 years of legal experience , including significant in-house counsel or law firm experience. Proven expertise in U.S. and Indian corporate and commercial law , with cross-border transaction experience. Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage complex legal issues and advise senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence. Experience working in a fast-paced, global, and tech-driven environment is a plus.
