About the Role We’re looking for a detail-oriented and driven Product Development & Compliance Executive to join our team. In this cross-functional role, you’ll work across product development, quality control, documentation, compliance, and production to ensure Born Good and ETCC products meet the highest standards in innovation and safety. Key Responsibilities New product development: Support new product development for both Born Good and ETCC, from ideation to formulation. Prepare technical literature such as MSDS & TDS Assist the procurement team in communicating with the supply chain for sourcing raw materials for new products. Conduct market sampling and replicate competitive products. Run formulation trials to reduce product costs while maintaining performance standards. Perform application trials and benchmarking studies against competitor products. Coordinate third-party testing and maintain relevant documentation. Conduct internal costing exercises and flag pricing variances. Product certifications Handle all documentation and audit for product, brand and company certifications like USDA BioPreferred, GOTS, Leaping Bunny etc. Customer support Respond to customer queries related to Born Good and select ETCC clients Occasionally visit customer sites for product demonstrations. Prepare internal reports such as CIL and PSD for some customers Inventory Monitor and reduce non-moving raw materials and finished goods inventory. Provide solutions for rejected materials in collaboration with the Quality Control team. Production Coordinate between R&D and production teams, ensuring accurate batch card maintenance. Troubleshoot production challenges in coordination with the manufacturing team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (B.Tech or equivalent preferred). 5-6 years of relevant experience in product development, formulation, or quality assurance in home care, personal care, or chemical industries. Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory documentation. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Problem-solving mindset with a hands-on attitude. Nice-to-Have Prior experience with plant-based or eco-friendly product formulations. Exposure to certifications like USDA BioPreferred, GOTS, or Leaping Bunny.
