Role- Content Design Specialist Job Level/ Designation - M2 Function / Department- Digital & Partnerships, Corporate Marketing Location- Mumbai Job Purpose This role is part of the Growth Marketing Team at Vi, responsible for driving & delivering the overall digital growth strategy, encompassing customer growth through profitable new customer acquisition and driving recruitment for various business / product lines to deliver the desired revenue outcomes. Overall responsibility of the team involves understanding & optimising the entire customer lifecycle or AARRR - Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, Revenue; end-to-end ownership of the business outcomes from all digital channels – own, social & others, ensuring they are aligned to the digital vision and delivering maximum value to the wider business. This role is focused on enabling digital marketing efforts as part of the overall growth strategy, to deliver desired business outcomes through effective & efficient digital marketing campaigns. More specifically, create clear, user-friendly and engaging content for digital products and services. We do believe that the Content Design is more than just writing words or creating visual designs; it involves understanding the needs and goals of the users, the business and the brand, and applying strategic and creative thinking to craft effective solutions. To succeed as a content design manager, you need a combination of skills that span across content, design, management and communication. Key Result Areas/Accountabilities Drive & deliver new customer acquisition on digital. Responsible for enabling digital acquisitions for the company through effective marketing campaigns. Align & execute as per the overall content strategy for enabling all the digital marketing campaigns - deliver content development & design for the organic & paid marketing campaigns; and, ensure content meets with user needs and business goals, aligns the tone & voice of the brand. Use the latest available design tools, specifically, AI led design tools, to deliver creatives in optimum time, at scale. Structure, format and optimize the content for different platforms, devices and channels, using best practices and standards for accessibility, readability and SEO. Test and measure the effectiveness of your content, such as analytics, user feedback, usability testing and content audits Analyze user behavior and funnel performance, providing actionable insights to optimize conversion rates, retention & overall RoI. Partner with the product and customer teams to build campaigns targeting & acquiring from different customer segments as required. Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience A creative professional who specializes in creating engaging and user-centered content for various digital platforms, websites, apps. Proven experience in content design, with a track record of driving digital marketing agenda for a reputed brand, at scale. Significant hands-on experience with a strong focus on user acquisition, retention, and lifecycle marketing. Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including paid ads, email, SEO, content, and social media. Understanding of the basics of UX and UI design, such as user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes; the design systems, the best practices for content design, such as content-first design, content modeling and content patterns. Understanding of all the available performance marketing tools, campaign modules across all large platforms. Strong creative writing skills to create compelling and engaging content; consumer-centric - ability to understand the consumer needs and create content that meets those needs. SEO Knowledge: Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) to create content that ranks well in search results. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders. Must have technical / professional qualifications Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Design, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field 4+ years of business experience in digital marketing, content design Creative thinking Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking and consulting skills Years of Experience 5+ years working experience Direct reports none
