Key Responsibilities (indicative not exhaustive) Design and execute the raw material procurement plan in tandem with business needs, complying to regulatory, operational, and related requirements. SAP experience is a must. Evaluate and modify procurement plan to meet contingencies, sustainability, and delivery issues in compliance with regulatory, operational, and other norms. Ensure quick and structured response to stakeholder needs at the plants | queries in an agile and amicable manner. Negotiate best possible cost | price for chemical raw materials. Negotiate and finalize contracts, purchase orders, service orders to secure advantageous terms. Persuade, influence, and explore alternatives to reach outcomes to gain acceptance of concerned stakeholders in the best interest of organization. Analyze data using forecasting tools and methodologies to assess actual performance, quantify risks, develop, and manage procurement budgets and review forecasts for accuracy. Prepare forecasting reports | communications and disseminate them to various stakeholder groups as required. Closely monitor the spend ratio and control overall cost and expenses. Actively identify and pursue areas of margin leakage and procurement optimization by leveraging practices across organization. Lead in implementing solutions and resources to generate cost savings and efficiency improvement. Procure raw material in compliance with regulatory and safety, health, and environment norms.
