Role Brief :As Category Head , you will be the business owner for one or more product categories at Kapiva. This role is a unique blend of P&L ownership, product lifecycle management, GTM, consumer insight, and demand generation . You will work cross-functionally with marketing, product, R&D, supply chain, and tech teams to scale your category and drive sustainable growth.Location: BangaloreJob responsibilities include:Own the end-to-end P&L of Men’s category – sales, margin, pricing, discounting, and profitability.Drive consumer-first category strategies through data, insights, and competitive benchmarking.Lead product roadmap decisions in partnership with R&D and supply chain – from NPD to portfolio optimization.Build & execute GTM strategies for new product launches – including positioning, packaging, pricing, and media strategy.Collaborate with the growth & CRM teams to define category-specific acquisition, retention, and CLM journeys.Work closely with the performance marketing, marketplace, and offline teams to deliver revenue targets.Monitor and improve key metrics like conversion rate, AOV, RTO%, and repeat purchase rate .Identify trends & opportunities via consumer insights, market intelligence, and platform analytics.Partner with creative and content teams to bring category narratives to life across channels.What we are looking for:4–6 years of experience in FMCG in roles like category management, brand management, or growth.Strong background in digital marketing with a proven track record in P&L management, GTM, or consumer lifecycle marketing.Strong analytical skills with a data-led mindset; experience working with insights, dashboards, and reports.Ability to work cross-functionally across product, supply chain, digital, and offline channels.Comfort with ambiguity and bias for execution – this role blends strategy with hustle.MBA from a Tier-1 or Tier-2 institute preferred.Why Join Us?Take ownership of high-growth categories at one of India’s fastest-growing Ayurvedic D2C brands.Work directly with cross-functional leadership including Growth, Brand, Product & Founders.Create meaningful impact in improving consumer health with purpose-driven products.Culture of openness, innovation, and autonomy.
