1 Name of Post and Number of vacancy Dy. General Manager (Plant) 2 Period of Contract The contract initially would be for a period of three (03) years and may be further extended for a period of two years in stages subject to functional requirements, appraisal of the performance and medical fitness of the individual. 3 Job assigned/Job profile • Oversee day-to-day operations of the fluorspar processing plant in accordance with direction of GM (Plant) to ensure production targets are met. • Monitor and optimize plant processes to ensure efficient utilization of resources and maximize output. • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various plant activities. • Develop production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and project goals. • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth material flow and production processes. • Analyze production data and implement improvements to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness. • Implement quality control measures to ensure the final product meets company QC required standards and specifications. • Collaborate with the quality control team to conduct inspections, tests, and audits as necessary. • Address any quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed. • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment. • Conduct regular safety inspections and training programs for plant personnel. • Maintain compliance with relevant environmental and health regulations. • Mentor, and manage a team of supervisors, engineers, technicians, and operators. • Set performance goals, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations. • Participate in budget planning and control expenses related to plant operations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and Administration, to ensure seamless operations. • Communicate regularly with senior management of the Project, providing updates on plant performance, challenges, and opportunities. 4 Job Location Fluorspar Project-Kadipani, Tal: Kawant, Dist: Chhota Udepur 5 Eligibility Criteria • Min 17 years of relevant experience with B. Tech. Metallurgy/Chemical/Mineral Processing qualification with at least 60% marks. OR A minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience with B.Tech. and M.Tech. Metallurgy/Chemical/Mineral Processing qualification with at least 60% marks. 6 Remuneration The monthly consolidated remuneration will be based on the previous/current remuneration. (Negotiable) 7 Allowance Shall not be entitled to any allowance except transport facility. 8 Travelling Allowance The travelling allowance on tour, if any, shall be as per the rules and norms
