Experience: 3–5 years Languages: English (fluent) Role overview: Our client is an early-stage tech-powered game publisher, working with indie game studios to help craft impactful, data-driven marketing strategies for a fraction of traditional publishers’ costs. The mission is to redefine how game marketing is approached by blending technology with industry knowledge. As a startup, they’re in the exciting phase of building something new and unique, and they’re looking to hire a passionate developer to join us on this journey. As a full-stack developer , you’ll work closely with the founders to refine the MVP, build out new features, and lay the technical foundations for scale. You will be involved in every step of the product lifecycle: from UX and data pipelines to infrastructure and security. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in startup environments, is comfortable owning projects end-to-end, and is passionate about the gaming space. Responsibilities: ● Architecture management: Understand the current architecture, maintain documentation related to it ● UI/UX optimization: Polish the existing front-end; improve the structure and usability of tabs, filters, and tool views. ● Debugging & platform stability : Identify and fix bugs in the current interface. ● Feature expansion: Develop web scraping pipeline and mechanism (i.e. scraping and processing market signals) ● Infrastructure & knowledge stack: Improve and scale the platform's infrastructure, including database structure and information pipelines. ● Security stack: Strengthen security practices and recommend measures safeguarding against breaches and hacks. ● Product management: Provide feedback on product development, including new features, potential plug-in tools, and manage relevant stakeholders Requirements : ● A degree from a top-tier school (NIT / IIT or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. ● 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on database design and data architecture. ● Proven experience in full-stack development React, NextJS, node development AWS infrastructure ● Exposure to sentiment analyses/ NLP libraries and APIs, or familiarity with Python AI libraries ● Knowledge in data interpretation and production of analytics dashboards ● Understanding of plug-in tools and integration processes ● A passion for indie gaming and ideally an interest in marketing and communication strategies. ● Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment, with a high degree of ownership and collaboration with the founding team. Experience with Node.js (Express.js), Python (Django/Flask), or Java (Spring Boot) Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL Experience working with relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis) databases Knowledge of Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools Understanding security best practices, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and performance optimization Interested?
